UFC fighter says Hitler was a ‘good guy’ and the ‘Holocaust ain’t real’

Bryce Mitchell, a featherweight fighter for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, began his new podcast by denying the Holocaust and praising Hitler, prompting condemnation — but no discipline — from UFC CEO Dana White.

On the first episode of ArkanSanity, on Jan. 24, Mitchell said that, based on his own research, “Hitler was a good guy.”

“I really do think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy I’d go fishing with,” Mitchell, wearing camo in a man cave full of firearms, told his co-host Rolando “Roli” Delgado. “He fought for his country. He wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out that were destroying his country and turning them all into gays.”

He added that he wasn’t a Nazi, but that Hitler was justified in his hostility, in part because Jews charged Germans interest. He also defended book burnings by asserting the books were “queer books.” The podcast also included transphobic remarks about Caitlyn Jenner, and, oddly, some sermonizing about the revelation at Sinai as proof of God’s existence.

Mitchell recently attended the inauguration party of President Trump, who is friendly with White, who spoke at the rally before Trump’s inauguration. On the podcast, Mitchell said he was invited by “Tucker Carlson’s crew” and that while he liked Trump, he was skeptical he would turn the country around so quickly before “evil elites” burn or flood another city or “let out another virus.”

Mitchell gave himself credit for not confronting Ben Shapiro when he saw him — “I know if you get me around Ben Shapiro long enough I’m gonna tell him I’m gonna beat his ass,” because he loves Candace Owens, who Shapiro fired for being antisemitic. Mitchell previously threatened Shapiro in defense of Owens, saying on the TwinsPod that he dislikes the DailyWire founder because Shapiro wants Christians to “die to go bomb Muslim kids for his Jewish people” and won’t do it himself cause he’s a “b–h.”

When Delgado argued that it was “bad to put a whole race into camps,” Mitchell responded by railing on the public education system.

“You believe your public education because you haven’t done your own research,” said Mitchell, an advocate of homeschooling. “When you realize there’s no possible way they could’ve burned and cremated 6 million bodies, you’re gonna realize the Holocaust ain’t real.”

The Nazis and their collaborators murdered 6 million Jews in the Holocaust. Millions were never cremated, with 1.5 million alone killed in the “Holocaust by bullets,” mass shootings outside of the camps in Eastern Europe. Mitchell also blamed Bolshevik Jews for killing “10s of millions of Christians,” a claim also regularly made by Owens, and said he would tell Tucker Carlson the truth of it.

At a press conference Thursday, White denounced Mitchell’s comments.

“I’ve heard a lot of dumb, ignorant s-t in my day, but this one’s probably the worst,” White said. “When you talk about Hitler, he’s responsible for the death of 6 million Jews and he tried to completely eliminate a race of people.”

White added that Hitler was “one of the most disgusting and evil human beings to ever walk the face of the Earth, and anyone that even tries to take an opposing position is a moron.”

“That’s the problem with the internet and social media,” White said, “You provide a platform for a lot of dumb, ignorant people.”

White ended by saying the UFC reached out to Mitchell and let him know how they feel about his remarks and that he was “beyond disgusted.” But, citing the UFC’s position on freedom of expression, White said the organization would not take disciplinary action.

In a post to X on Friday, Natan Levy, an Israeli UFC fighter who once fought a Holocaust denying internet troll, posted that he’d be down to have a match with Mitchell — or take him to a Holocaust museum or Israel to educate him.

“We don’t have horns, we don’t all conspire to take over the world, we just trying to live our lives and enjoy the sun,” Levy said.
