Brandon Figueroa vs Stephen Fulton fight

The chief support to Benavidez vs. Morrell will see Stephen Fulton challenge for his first world title at featherweight, taking on a man he is familiar with in Brandon Figueroa.

The two squared off in a highly entertaining unified title fight at junior featherweight in 2021, which saw Fulton combat Figueroa’s all action offense with a beautiful display of technical boxing, that led him to a majority decision victory.

Figueroa then moved up to the featherweight division, where he’s since collected three wins and along the way, the interim WBC title. Last October he was elevated to champion status with Rey Vargas being named “champion in recess.”

Fulton stayed at junior featherweight and soon after took on pound-for-pound great Naoya Inoue in Japan, suffering his first career defeat after being stopped in the eighth round. He came back last September, fighting at featherweight, and won a split decision over Carlos Castro to set up the Figueroa rematch.

Expected start time: approx. 9 p.m. CT

Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz vs Angel Fierro fight

“Pitbull” Cruz looks to get back to winning ways as he takes on the seasoned Angel Fierro.

Cruz last fought in August on the Terence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov undercard, defending the WBA junior welterweight title against Jose Valenzuela. In that fight Cruz suffered his third career defeat, falling by split decision after the larger Valenzuela expertly countered his pressure throughout.

Cruz was in talks to potentially face Ryan Garcia in May, but opted against that bout having already scheduled Saturday’s fight against Fierro.

Fierro, who’s spent the majority of his career fighting in Mexico, fought twice in 2024, suffering a unanimous decision defeat in Puerto Rico before returning to score a fifth-round knockout in his hometown of Tijuana in November.

Expected start time: approx. 8 p.m. CT

Jesus Ramos Jr. vs Jeison Rosario fight

Jesus Ramos Jr. continues down the comeback trail against former world champion Jeison Rosario in Saturday’s opening bout.

In recent years Ramos Jr. has risen from top prospect to contender status, but hit a speed bump in his development when he suffered his first career defeat to long-rated contender Erickson Lubin in 2023. The defeat to Lubin proved to be controversial, with many believing Ramos Jr. had done enough to win a tight decision, only to have all three judges score in favor of Lubin.

He returned last May to pick up a knockout victory and now looks to continue back down the path toward a world title against Rosario in his first fight at middleweight.

Rosario fought once in 2024, taking on former world champion Jarrett Hurd and earning a split decision draw.
