CHOCTAW, Okla. —Members of the Choctaw Police Department aren’t pleased with Sunday’s prediction from the nation’s most famous groundhog.

In a satirical post from Sunday morning, the Choctaw Police Department have named Punxsutawney Phil as “Public Enemy #1.”

“Be on the lookout for Punxsutawney Phil, also known as “The Shadow Seer.” This notorious weather predictor has once again sentenced us to six more weeks of winter, and we’ve had enough,” department officials wrote in the post.

They gave Phil’s last location being Gobbler’s Knob, Pennsylvania, and said the marmot was armed with tiny paws and considered “extremely unpredictable.”

“If spotted, approach with caution, he may try to predict your future next. Anyone with information on Phil’s whereabouts is urged to contact your nearest warm-weather enthusiast,” officials wrote in the post. “Let’s bring him to justice before he strikes again next year!”
