Dressed in vintage garb, the artists instead sang “California Dreamin’,” a tribute, again, to Los Angeles following the devastating wildfires.

“Die with a Smile” was nominated as song of the year and best pop duo/group performance.

The pop phenomenon won the category on Feb. 2, taking the stage and immediately losing her hat. “Thank you to my fellow nominees whose music got me through this year,” she kicked off her speech while reading from a journal.

Roan said “I told myself if I ever won a Grammy and I got to stand up here in front [of music industry executives],” she’d deliver an impassioned message.

That message? “Record labels need to treat their artists as valuable employees … labels, we’ve got you, but do you got us?”

Copy The Link To This Blog Post Despite reports, PEOPLE can confirm that Kanye West was not asked to leave the 2025 Grammy Awards. Instead, he simply went home of his own accord after making a jaw-dropping appearance on the red carpet with wife Bianca Censori.

West was a 2025 nominee for best rap song for his track “Carnival.”

Copy The Link To This Blog Post Some of the buzzy rising stars nominated in the best new artist category at the 2025 Grammys teamed up to perform a medley of some of the hits that earned them their nods.

Khruangbin kicked things off with “May Ninth.” Benson Boone then sang his single “Beautiful Things,” and newly-minted Grammy winner Doechii performed both “CATFISH” and “DENIAL IS A RIVER.”

Teddy Swims then took the stage with his hit, “Lose Control,” while Shaboozey sang both “Good News” and “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” RAYE closed things out with her “Oscar Winning Tears.”

Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter are also nominated in the category.

“Wow, I really was not expecting this,” Beyoncé said after hugging her husband Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy to take the stage. “I wanna thank God, oh my god, that I’m still able to do what I love after so many years.”

During her speech, Beyoncé thanked her “beautiful family,” as well as “all the incredible coutnry artists that accepted this album.”

The pop star loves to dance along to performances at awards shows, and the camera caught her grooving during Sunday’s Grammys, as seen above.

Copy The Link To This Blog Post Chappell Roan sang her massive hit single, “Pink Pony Club,” for her first-ever Grammys performance. Roan channelled a rodeo queen and was supported by a slew of dancing clowns for the high-energy number.

Of course, the song’s titular star was also present — Roan started her Grammys moment atop an oversized bright pink horse.

Ahead of the performance, Roan said during a Grammys video, that the song is her “love-letter to L.A.”

“This is my first Grammy so I’m gonna cry,” Carpenter admitted after taking the stage in a brown, strapless dress. She concluded her speech with a bleeped-out, “Thank you, holy s—, bye.”

Carpenter defeated her close pal Taylor Swift in the category, though the latter jumped up and down in excitement for the younger pop star as her victory was announced.

“I don’t wanna make this long, but this category was introduced in 1989. And two women have won — three women have won — Lauryn Hill, Cardi B and Doechii,” she said in her acceptance speech. “I put my heart and my soul into this mixtape. I bared my life. I went through so much. I dedicated myself to sobriety and God told me I would be rewarded.”

After beginning the performance onstage in a sequined tuxedo-like bodysuit — and struggling to find center in the spotlight — Carpenter stripped to reveal a light blue leotard.

She navigated up and down a grand staircase, did some tap dancing and even visited a faux front porch.

Copy The Link To This Blog Post In addition to traditional commercials during the 2025 Grammys, there will also be advertisements for local Los Angeles businesses that have been impacted by the wildfires.

The first of such was for Orla Floral Studio, an Altadena business that was destroyed in the fires. Helping out in the ad? Singer Doja Cat, who encouraged viewers to support the florist.

Copy The Link To This Blog Post Rather than kick off with pithy quips about the evening’s attendees, veteran Grammys host kicked off the Grammys, instead, with a monologue about the recent wildfires that plagued Los Angeles.

“Tens of thousands of people have lost their homes,” said Noah, later noting, “It’s often said that in the darkest times, the best of humanity shows through.”

Noah also spoke about some of the city’s iconic musicians, before introducing the “I Love L.A.” tribute performers.

Later, after the performance, Noah walked around the tables of attendees and did, in fact, remark on the stars present.

“Blue’s giving notes,” Shaboozey said of 13-year-old Blue Ivy. “She’s giving notes. She’s a young director. Young visionary. Young filmaker. I can see it ’cause I direct too.”

He added of the teen, “When I saw her making shot ideas and making scene changes, it was just like, it was so cool to see them being creative.”

Ooh, bet you’re thinking, “she’s so cool” . . . we are!

Gracie Abrams made the Grammy Awards red carpet a bridal moment in a cream-colored Chanel gown, which she paired with an unexpected awards show accessory: a veil.

The pop star’s short hair was worn parted down the middle, with a simple cream veil pinned to the back of her head. The hood-like veil attached to the top of her off-the-shoulder gown.

Billie Eilish doesn’t hit a red carpet without her brother by her side, so of course Finneas and the nine-time Grammy winner were side by side for the Feb. 2 awards show.

Eilish is a seven-time nominee on Sunday. Finneas is already a 10-time Grammy winner, and nominated four times this year.

During an acceptance speech, St. Vincent thanked her wife and daughter.

Later, in the press room, the artist confirmed only that she has a young daughter — news that was not previously public.

On the Grammys red carpet, Swims told PEOPLE and EW that his pearl-covered look was in tribute to the baby.

“We’re due in June and so the birthstone is pearls,” said Swims. “I thought I would — baby mama’s here with the belly out too — we’re tryna be a good daddy over here.”

Copy The Link To This Blog Post Kanye West, once a fixture at awards shows and now a rare presence in recent years, appeared on the Grammys red carpet alongside his wife, Bianca Censori, on Sunday in Los Angeles.

West hasn’t walked a Grammys red carpet in 10 years, last attending alongside his then-wife Kim Kardashian.

Censori hit the carpet in a fur coat, but dropped it to reveal she was wearing only a completely sheer mesh dress, with no undergarments, for a nearly-naked look.

Jaden Smith doesn’t have his head in the clouds — but he does have it, well, in a house.

The 26-year-old hit the 2025 Grammys carpet in a classic, black suit with a white shirt and tie, but his headwear was a little more unique. Smith’s face peeked out of a black, castle-shaped headpiece, complete with turrets and windows.

Copy The Link To This Blog Post Chappell Roan is a first-time Grammy nominee on Feb. 2 — though she’s tapped in six categories. It’s just the latest milestone in a banner year for Roan, who skyrocketed to popularity in 2024 after years in the industry.

“It’s fun, like, I’m having fun,” Roan said on the Grammys red carpet during the Associated Press’ livestream. “I’m like, don’t take a lot seriously so, but it is, like, what I do take so seriously is like the community from the L.A. fires. We lost so much. Like my community was lost, so that I take so seriously.”

Despite the recent tragedy in Los Angeles, Roan said, “I hold on to joy in these times and like, really lift the girls up, because we all lost. It affected us all. Just to be here at like such an iconic Grammys, I feel very honored. At a point where it’s poignant.”
