NEW ORLEANS (TNND) — Longtime football coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, turned heads during the 14th Annual NFL Honors, as they both wore flashy rings.

Bellichick’s fingers were decorated with all eight of his Super Bowl rings as the couple sparkled together on the red carpet at the at Saenger Theatre in New Orleans.

While some people on social media assumed Hudson was wearing one of Bellichick’s many championship rings, the former college football cheerleader clarified the rumors by sharing a photo on her Instagram account Friday.

“Championship Rings: @patriots @giants & @bsu_cheerleading,” she captioned the post, noting she she donned the ring she earned during her time as a Bridgewater State University cheerleader.

Bellichick has six Super Bowl rings from the New England Patriots, as well as two from his time with the New York Giants. He no longer coaches for the NFL, but is widely considered an NFL legend. He now serves as the head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Bellichick, 72, and Hudson, 24, have been dating for a few years. They’ve made headlines for their age difference, as he is 48 years older than Hudson.

They reportedly met in 2021 while Hudson was still in college, and later became a couple after his breakup from Linda Holliday, his girlfriend of 16 years.

During the NFL event, which was hosted by Snoop Dogg, the rapper poked fun at their age gap. He said he has been a football fan since “back when the Cowboys was good,” “back when the Chiefs was bad” and “I remember, what was it — Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet?”

But many of their fans don’t seem to mind — and they took to social media to defend the couple.

“You look stunning and both of you look happy, so I don’t get why people care about this the way I have seen in comments across social media,” one woman wrote in reply to Hudson’s photo. “If everyone is happy, it’s not anyone’s concern. Great picture!”
