YEEZY and Sean John Debut Collaborative T-Shirts

In the middle of an explosive — and, at the time of writing, ongoing — Twitter rant from Ye, the rapper headed over to Instagram to announce that YEEZY has teamed up with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Sean John to unveil a selection of collaborative T-shirts.

“YEEZY SEAN JOHN COLLAB AVAILABLE @ YEEZY.COM,” Ye proclaimed in an Instagram post revealing the collaboration. “ME AND [DIDDY] SPLITTING THIS 50/50 LIKE WE DISCUSSED BEFORE THEY LOCKED HIM UP” (Combs is currently being held in jail in Brooklyn as he awaits trial on federal sex trafficking charges). The five-piece capsule comprises branded T-shirts with the Sean John logo across the front chest, and is offered in options of gray, black, blue, white and red.

This partnership arrives shortly after West officially released his first piece of YZY womenswear, which arrived in the form of the BD-01 bodysuit seemingly inspired by the artist’s wife, Bianca Censori. It’s the first time Sean John has been in the headlines in recent memory — at least since Macy’s terminated its exclusive distribution with the label in 2023 after sexual assault allegations against Combs — though it does have an extensive legacy. Combs founded Sean John in 1998, sold a 90% stake in the brand to Global Brands Group in 2016, and then purchased it back for $7.5 million USD following the conglomerate’s bankruptcy in 2021. From 2000 to 2005, Sean John was nominated for a CFDA Award each year, and in 2004, it won the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year award.

Check out the collab above. The YEEZY x Sean John collection is available now via YZY.
