Kim Soo-Hyun, Kim Sae-Ron’s Dating Scandal Deepens As More Intimate Pics Surface, Dispatch Report Confirms Claims
Even as Kim Soo-Hyun’s agency Gold Medalist continues to deny the allegations imposed on him, new evidence and alleged claims are emerging around his 6-year-long relationship with late actress Kim Sae-Ron. The Korean star found himself in the middle of a dating scandal after a YouTube video went viral on March 10.
In the long timeline of happenings around the alleged relationship, as stated by Kim Sae-Ron’s aunt in the video, it even mentioned the time when Sae-Ron posted a selfie with Soo-Hyun last year sparking dating rumours. Though Gold Medalist denied any kind of relationship, and the actress soon deleted the image, it has now been revealed that it was an attempt by her to get a reaction from the Queen of Tears star who had been ghosting her for a long time.

Soon after, more images started surfacing of the two from their “dating” period. While one had Soo-Hyun kissing Sae-Ron on the cheek, another one had them posing intimately close to each other. While the two images had been circulating on Korean news websites and social media, the source of the images is still not known.
While the scandal continues to deepen which more and more things opening up, Dispatch on March 12 released an article asserting how Gold Medalist didn’t support Kim Sae-Ron during her difficult time post her DUI incident, that possibly lead to her death.
Dispatch confirms the dating controversy
It confirmed the claims by Garosero Research Institute that posted the aforementioned video, that the agency indeed sent Sae-Ron an official notice for debt repayment in March 2024. It demanded compensation for the damages she caused. Gold Medalist was managing her during her DUI case and initially helped her with money. But soon after her contract ended, it slapped her with the notice. By this time, she still had about $473,000 left to pay back with due date being set at December 31, 2023. The company threatened to take legal action if the amount was not paid back.
Dispatch further confirmed the text message Kim Sae-Ron sent to Kim Soo-Hyun “begging” for more time to pay her dues. It stated that since the two were in a relationship after 2015, Sae-Ron joined Gold Medalist that Soo-Hyun founded around that time, and even became its star celebrity.

Dispath also revealed that after she posted the selfie with Kim Soo-Hyun on Instagram to get his attention when he stopped taking her calls, she clarified to the publication. “Yes, it’s hard. You have contacted me but I’m sorry that I cannot provide the response that you want,” Kim told their reporters. When asked whether she had any plans of releasing a statement around the dating rumour back then, she said, “No, I never said I was going to release a statement. It seems that they were misinformed about the necessity of releasing a statement.”
She even requested the journalist to keep their chat off record. “I am hoping that you don’t share this conversation in an article right now. I am replying out of courtesy for you contacting me,” she said.
Gold Medalist’s claim that the notice was a formality!
Kim Sae-Ron did not release any statement, though a copy of it which she had written got revealed on March 11. According to Dispatch, Gold Medalist told them, “We had no intentions of receiving money from Kim Sae Ron. We thought we wouldn’t get it. We only followed basic procedures because there could have been a case of malpractice brought up.”
About not clearly telling Sae-Ron that it was a sheer formality, the agency in defence said, “She was told the company paid out the compensation. We knew we couldn’t get such a large amount from her. We told her she could pay it back when she brings in a profit for the company or when she can afford it.”
Kim Sae-Ron felt pressurised and burdened by the official notice sent by Gold Medalist considering she wasn’t aware about the “formality” part of the deal, Dispatch added.
