King Charles paid tribute to Prince William and Kate Middleton as he praised their home life, but there was no mention of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

King Charles noticeably left out his son Prince Harry when he heaped praise on members of the royal family.
The monarch made a rare public statement about Prince William and Kate Middleton as he commented on their home life during a State Banquet with President Macron at Windsor Castle.
The French President was joined by his wife Brigitte at the historic venue on Tuesday evening. During his speech to Macron, Charles praised William’s decision to choose Windsor as his family home.
“The Castle in which we meet this evening was begun by my ancestor – and your sometime countryman – William, Duke of Normandy, in the year 1070,” the King said during his opening statement.
He added, “It remains the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world.”

Charles then said, “So it is perhaps rather appropriate that my son, The Prince of Wales, who shares that earlier William’s name, has made Windsor his home with his family, like so many of our predecessors.”
The Prince and Princess of Wales moved to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor Great Park in 2022, having previously lived at Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace.
Kate Middleton has previously spoken about her family’s countryside life, saying earlier this year, “We are in Windsor at the moment. We were in London but moved there for more green space. It’s close enough to London, not too far away.”
While Charles mentioned William, he decided to ignore his youngest son Prince Harry.
