Country band Rascal Flatts will perform at the Commander in Chief Ball during Donald Trumpβs inauguration weekend.
The country band’s lead vocalist and Columbus native, Gary LeVox, announced on social media Tuesday their performance at the inaugural ball, making this the second time LeVox performs during Donald Trump’s inaugural ceremony.
“I am so humbled and honored and grateful for the opportunity again to play the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States,” LeVox said on Instagram. “I got to play it in 2016 and now Rascal Flatts will be performing at the commanders ball and I am so looking forward to it!”
Guitarist Jay DeMarcus is also a Columbus native. The pair, along with Joe Don Rooney, started the band in Nashville in 1999.
After a four-year hiatus, the group will kick off their “Life is a Highway” tour next month with a show in Columbus on March 6.
