A popular skincare product is part of nationwide FDA recall. Do you have this moisturizer?

Check your skin care shelf. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall on a popular skin moisturizer that’s available nationwide.

First Aid Beauty has issued a recall for more than 2,700 jars of Ultra Repair Cream. It’s sold across the country on the First Aid Beauty site and major retailers like Target, Ulta, Sephora and Amazon.

The FDA issued a recall for the second-highest recall classification out of three tiers.

Here’s what we know about why the skin care product was recalled and why.

Why was the product recalled?

The FDA issued a Class II recall, meaning there could be a moderate health risk. Problems caused would likely be temporary or reversible, and the likelihood of a severe complication is slim.

Batches that were supposed to be quarantined were shipped instead, and First Aid Beauty started the recall in December.

How do I know if my moisturizer was affected?

Check the expiration date. The recalled products expire on April 10 and April 11, 2026.

The lot numbers are 24D44 and 24D45.

What do I do if my stuff is part of the recall?

Stop using it.

Reach out to First Aid Beauty or use the FDA recall page for more information.
