Ruben Amorim has selected his team to face Rangers in the Europa League home game at Old Trafford.
The Reds are looking to stretch our unbeaten run in the competition and further enhance our prospects of making the top eight in the table and, therefore, avoiding the two-legged play-offs.
The Gers will be backed by a noisy away following and are doing well in Europe themselves this term, sitting only a point behind Amorim’s men, and also targeting a place in the knockout stages.
There are five changes in total to the XI that started the weekend defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Altay Bayindir replaces Andre Onana in goal, while Lisandro Martinez returns to the three-man defence. Amad is expected to revert to right wing-back, allowing Alejandro Garnacho to come into the side, while it’s a new central midfield pairing of Toby Collyer, making his first start under Amorim, and Christian Eriksen.
Joshua Zirkzee is in for Rasmus Hojlund in attack.
There are two goalkeepers on the bench, Onana and Tom Heaton, but still plenty of options as the game wears on.
United: Bayindir; Yoro, De Ligt, Martinez; Amad, Collyer, Eriksen, Dalot; Fernandes (c), Garnacho; Zirkzee.
Substitutes: Onana, Heaton, Maguire, Malacia, Casemiro, Mainoo, Ugarte, Antony, Hojlund.
