After winning numerous awards and accolades, Beyoncé still needs a little push.
The “16 Carriages” singer, 43, was almost frozen in place with shock written on her face when she was announced the winner of best country album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. For a few seconds, Beyoncé, who has won 35 Grammy awards and received 99 nominations, sat still as the crowd around her burst in celebration. It wasn’t until her daughter Blue Ivy, 13, nudged her to stand up and accept her award that she sprung into action.
“Wow, I want to thank God that I’m able to still do what I love after so many years,” Beyoncé said after she reached the stage. “Oh, my God, I’d like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this, this album we worked so hard on it.”

“Wow, I’d like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators,” she added, acknowledging her three children whom she shares with rapper Jay-Z and the slew of collaborators from the Cowboy Carter album like Linda Martell and Miley Cyrus. “Thank you. This wouldn’t have been this album without you. Like to thank God again and my fans. And I still am in shock, thank you so much for this honor.”
Since her performance debut on the Renaissance World Tour, Blue Ivy has taken control of her own story and began carving out her own space in the industry.
She’s become a staple in her mother’s performances, appearing alongside her mother during her Christmas Day Halftime Performance. The “young visionary,” as country star Shaboozey referred to her, also was seen behind the scenes giving her thoughts on specific aspects of the Renaissance World Tour in the concert film.

The mom of three “invited us out there three days early just to watch her do what she does,” the “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” singer, who appeared on two Cowboy Carter tracks, told E! News ahead of the ceremony.
“She’s so focused, she’s commanding, she’s giving instructions, she’s there just as much as everybody else is. It’s not like an in-and-out thing, she’s there watching the playback,” the singer, 29, continued before revealing that Queen Bey isn’t the only member of the Carter family he’s learned from.
“Blue’s giving notes. She’s giving notes, She’s a young director. Young visionary. young filmmaker,” he told the outlet, adding that he “can see” in her “’cause I direct, too.”
