The Boston Celtics soundly defeated the visiting Orlando Magic Tuesday night, grabbing a 121-94 victory at home, and turning the page on a bad road loss to the Toronto Raptors earlier in the week.
Orlando has one of the NBA’s top defenses, but that seemed to matter very little to the Celtics. Boston scored early and often, thanks to smart passing and timely shooting. The guys in green went 17-for-37 on 3-pointers, but perhaps more importantly, continued to attack the painted area all night. This relentless offensive approach proved too much for the Magic, who simply could not keep pace. It was an emphatic victory for the Celtics who are back in action tomorrow night at TD Garden to host the Atlanta Hawks.
