The Recording Academy is remembering those we’ve lost in the industry this year.

To kick off the 2025 Grammy Awards annual In Memoriam segment, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin took the stage to perform the band’s “All My Love” with a four-string orchestra.

After Martin, 47, began singing at the piano, the tributes began with a special video of Liam Payne.

More names shown on the screen included Kris Kristofferson, Cissy Houston, Dickey Betts, Fatman Scoop, Rich Homie Quan, Wayne Osmond, Toby Keith and many others.

Earlier in the night, a special performance was dedicated to the late Quincy Jones, who died on Nov. 3 at age 91. Throughout his decades-long career, he received 80 Grammy nominations and won 28 of them. The tribute included contributions from Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Jaco Collier, Lainey Wilson and Janelle Monáe.
