The Washington Commanders are in swamp territory this evening to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, closing out Sunday’s slate of Super Wild Card Weekend action. The Buccaneers needed the right magic to happen in Week 18 to make tonight possible, yet they once again won the NFC South and enter as the three seed.
The Commanders turned plenty of heads this season behind the play of rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, and it manifested a surprising sixth-seed playoff birth.
After seeing the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles both soar past their opponents, will Tampa Bay win to keep home teams undefeated thus far? This game is as close to a pick-em as I see it. But for me, the deciding factor is experience, and the Buccaneers boast plenty playoff starts.
That said, Daniels and company should make things very interesting this evening. It’s likely that the team to turn the ball over less advances to the divisional round.
Here’s your open thread for all of tonight’s action. As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
