Jameson Williams energizes Detroit Lions with hilarious celebration, pumping up crowd

DETROITDetroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams pumped up the crowd inside Ford Field after scoring a touchdown on a trick play.

On first down and 10-yards to go, Williams took an end-around 61-yard to the house to bring the game to 24-21.

After reaching the endzone, the young speedster decided to pay homage to Detroit native and comedian Keegan-Michael Key and his “Three pumps” celebration in the process.

Key made the celebration on his sketch-comedy show Key & Peele when the character Hingle McCringleberry, played by Key, scores a touchdown and does three pumps with his pelvis.

In the NFL, three pumps has been called excessive and illegal and when done in years past, has cost players a hefty fine.

Williams did two pumps in the endzone but was later stopped by Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Key said that he and the show would match fines given to NFL players for doing the celebration and donate the money to the players’ favorite charities, let’s see if that offer is still on the table, as two pumps in today’s climate will cost Williams a chunk of his playoff check.
