Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil’s girlfriend severely injured as private jet crashes into plane at Scottsdale Airport

Vince Neil’s girlfriend, Rain Hannah Andreani, was severely injured Monday afternoon after the Mötley Crüe singer’s private jet lost control and crashed into a parked plane.

Video of the accident showed Neil’s jet speeding down a runway at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona before it started skidding and hit the other aircraft head-on.

“A Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona around 2:45 p.m. local time Monday, Feb. 10,” the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement. “Four people were on board the Learjet and one person was on board the Gulfstream.”

Neil’s manager told TMZ that the rock star, 64, was not on his jet at the time of the crash.

Andreani, however, was on board with a friend named Ashley and their dogs, according to the outlet.

Both women and the dogs survived and were transported to a hospital, where Andreani was treated for five broken ribs, sources said.

The pilot on Neil’s private jet tragically died in the collision, and a co-pilot was also injured.

Airport officials told AZ Family that the left main landing gear failed while the jet was trying to land.

Mötley Crüe released a statement later Monday about the tragedy.

Neil’s longtime friend, Poison lead singer Bret Michaels, also shared his reaction to the accident in a Facebook post Monday.

“My deepest sympathy and condolences to the pilot that just passed away in Scottsdale Airpark and the other pilot who was injured, as well as my thoughts and prayers to our family friend Rain, her friends and all those that were injured in the tragic landing,” he wrote.
