It’s just been announced that the horror thriller series Teacup will not return for a season two at Peacock AND that the Frasier revival seen on Paramount+ will not return for a season three. However, it may not be the end of the story for one of these shows.
Variety has reported that Teacup at Peacock, a series that starred Scott Speedman and Yvonne Strahovski and was inspired by Robert McCammon’s bestselling novel Stinger, has been canceled after one season. The series followed “a disparate group of people on a ranch who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat.”

Variety has also reported that the Frasier revival that has so far run for two seasons on Paramount+ has not been renewed for a third season. The series was led and executive produced by Kelsey Grammer and is a revival of the original show Frasier that aired from 1993 to 2004 (11 seasons!).

However, CBS Studios, who own the show, will reportedly be shopping the show around to other networks and streamers to see if another studio is interested in picking it up. CBS itself isn’t expected to bring it onto its slate as it already has other similar shows. So, it may not be goodbye for these beloved characters after all!
