CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Former “Ace and TJ” show host, David “Ace” Cannon has died. Radio outlets have shared the news all over social media saying Cannon died Tuesday night at the age of 56.

The Ace and TJ show arrived in Charlotte in 1998. It was a constant in Charlotte for years before Cannon abruptly left the show in September. The show re-launched as The TJ and Riggins show.

Cannon leaves behind two ex-wives and two sons. His daughter died in 2020.
