Marcus Smart reportedly is headed to Washington in a 3-team trade.
Veteran guard Marcus Smart reportedly has been traded to the Washington Wizards in a three-team deal with the Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings, according to multiple reports.
Wizards get:
Grizzlies get:
- Marvin Bagley III
- Two future 2nd-round picks

Smart won Kia Defensive Player of the Year with the Boston Celtics during the 2021-22 season. He joined Memphis last offseason and posted averages of 8.7 points, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 21.1 minutes over 19 games this season.
LaRavia, the 19th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, is averaging 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists during his third NBA season.
Bagley III, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 Draft, joins his third team over the last two seasons. He’s averaging a career-low 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds over 19 games this season.
Len, the fifth overall pick in the 2013 Draft, has played with Sacramento for the last three-plus seasons. He and Jones, the 34th pick in the 2023 Draft, have played limited roles so far this season.
