Tonight, the 2025 Grammys red carpet was host to some of the music world’s top talents. Given the 67th annual ceremony was all about celebrating some of the best records and performances of the year, it was only natural that the room was chockfull of A-listers—including household names like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, and more (all of whom were nominated for the prestigious album of the year award).
Naturally, before the ceremony kicked off, plenty of statement fashions came out to play on the step and repeat. After all, the Grammys carpet has always been a playground for stars to deliver a bold look. Some of the evening’s highlights? The couture, of course. Best new artist nominee Chappell Roan played up her theatrical sensibility in a ballerina-inspired look from the Jean Paul Gaultier spring 2003 collection. Bonus points for her whimsical feathered headpiece and makeup. For a more moody and romantic feel, Lady Gaga showed up in a black leather Vivienne Westwood couture look, complete with an archival Tiffany & Co. necklace from the 1930s.
Olivia Rodrigo kept things simple and streamlined in a slinky black vintage Versace gown. Stars like Doechii, in Thom Browne, and Billie Eilish, in Prada, opted for more structured tailoring. As for some of the best dressed gents of the night? J Balvin looked elegant in his Dior opera coat, while Troye Sivan did breezy suiting in a lavender Prada ensemble—complete with a brooch and neck scarf.
