‘The Young and the Restless’ actress found dead in home

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, the ex-wife of Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and a former leading lady on “The Young and the Restless,” has died.

She was 62.

Tragically, according to multiple reports, Bach-Hasselhoff is believed to have taken her own life. TMZ reported that her body was discovered after family asked for a welfare check.

Bach-Hasselhoff was, perhaps, best known for her role as Mari Jo Mason on “The Young and the Restless,” in the mid-1990s, per SOAPS.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” David Hasselhoff said in a statement to TMZ. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Her long list of acting credits also included a 14-episode stint on “Baywatch,” a five-episode stretch on “Sirens,” and an appearance on “Cheers.”
