LEXINGTON, Ky. (WSAZ) – The Alabama Crimson Tide won a thriller over the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday afternoon in Lexington 102-97. Grant Nelson and Mark Sears combined for 49 points as the fourth ranked team in the country improves to 15-3 overall and 4-1 in the SEC. The Wildcats had seven players score in double figures and were led by Otegah Oweh who had 21. A key moment in the game is when Alabama went on a 9-0 run inside the final five minutes.
UK falls to 3-2 in conference play and their next game is January 25th at Vanderbilt.
