It’s time for music’s biggest night: the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Despite devastating wildfires that ravaged California in recent weeks, the Recording Academy announced the 67th Grammy Award ceremony would go on. Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. saying the show “won’t just be about celebrating and honoring the best in music this year,” but that it “will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need.”
Nominations for this year include Beyoncé, who tops the list with 11 nods for her countrified “Cowboy Carter” album, followed by Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone, all members of the seven-nods club. They’re trailed by a trio of artists scoring six nominations each: Taylor Swift and Grammy newcomers Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan.
For the prestigious album of the year, nominees include André 3000
and Jacob Collier, who are competing against pop music breakouts Carpenter and Roan. The category is topped off by Beyoncé
and Taylor Swift.
